Midget AAA merger

We are pleased to announce that Burnaby Baseball Association (“BBA”), South Burnaby Baseball (“SBB”) and Vancouver Minor Baseball Association (“VMBA”) have entered into a Partnership for the upcoming 2017 and 2018 seasons for the 18U-AAA level. Players born between 1999 and 2001 are eligible to play 18U baseball. The team will be known as North Fraser Nationals and will be coached by John Wong from VMBA, with Assistant Coaches to be determined.

Winter training begins January 8, 2017 at the Richmond Oval. Please follow link for more information and instructions on how to register:

Players wishing to try out for 18U-AAA next season should attend the Winter training sessions.

Each player wishing to try-out for the 18U-AAA team should register with their home association. For those players not resident within the catchment boundaries of BBA, SBB or VMBA who wish to try out for the North Fraser Nationals, please ensure you inform your home association President and/or coordinator, that you are trying out for the team and cc Vancouver Minor’s president @, that your are trying out. (Releases are not required at 18U-AAA level).

18U-AAA is a Single Season that may consist of 40 or more games, with a majority of the games being double headers on the weekends. In addition to games in the lower mainland travel to Vancouver Island and the Interior will be required. Players must be committed to play from late March into mid-August (dependant on progress in Provincial, Westerns and National championships). Exact fee per player will be based on final roster numbers and an approved budget.
